A native perennial worth noting. Produces a relatively short, vase-like habit of long, thin leaves. Extends the season of color in late summer, producing an airy dome of small purple flowers similar in look to Asters. Deer resistant. Attracts pollinators.  Full sun. 4-4.5', Z4-9.
