Magnolia x 'Lois'

Magnolia x 'Lois'                                                                                                                         From the same breeding program at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden that produced the well known yellow cultivar 'Elizabeth.' Lemon yellow fragrant blooms in mid-to late spring. The bright yellow flowers appear somewhat later in the spring than 'Elizabeth', so frost is less of an issue. The blooms open before the leaves emerge; they make a spectacular show. 20-30'x 20', Z5-9.
