Oredenia 'Fusion of Fire'                                                                                                             A combination of Mukdenia and Oresitrophe, 'Fusion of Fire' takes the best of both plants for a one-of-a-kind new perennial. Mukdenia lends notched leaves and brilliant red fall color. Oresitrophe provides massive leaves at more than 12" wide and sprays of blushing pink flowers in spring. 'Fusion of Fire' will be more floriferous than your average Mukdenia, with increased vigor from the hybrid background. Use in an area of your garden with moderate to consistent moisture; it will be most vigorous in an area with filtered sun or afternoon shade. (From Johan Nilson of the Gothenburg Botanical Garden)
