Referred to as the 'red PJM', this amazing small leaf rhododendron has bronze winter foliage which persists into spring, contrasting the large trusses of dark pink flowers that cover the plant in May. Its compact form makes it wonderful in the foundation beds and mixed borders. The deep winter foliage is very attractive mixed with the green and blues of other evergreen plants. plant in sun to part shade in evenly moist, acidic soil. Moderate growing; reaches 4-6 ft. tall and wide. Part sun.  Zone 5-8
