Allium stellatum
Pink Prairie Onion of the eastern Great Plains. Umbels of deep pink stars. Plants will naturalize by self-seeding and bulb offsets in optimum growing conditions. Deadhead flowers before seed set to help control any unwanted spread.

Well-suited to rock gardens, Prairie Onion prefers full sun and dry conditions. The root system consists of a single bulb with deep secondary roots, allowing this plant to easily survive droughts. Deer resistant. Attracts bees and other pollinators. 1-2', Z3-7.

Perennials are available for shipping. Shipping begins in April, weather dependent. During the hottest parts of the summer, we will pause shipping. Notifications will be posted here and on Social Media. Due to their growth habits, peonies are only shipped in the fall, beginning in September (weather dependent).
