European Ginger is a low-growing woodland perennial with glossy, rounded dark green leaves that form a dense, spreading groundcover. It thrives in part to full shade and is especially useful beneath trees, along shaded borders, and in woodland gardens.
Once established, it can tolerate periods of dry shade, making it a good choice for challenging shady areas.
