Dryopteris erythrosora ‘Brilliance’ – Autumn Fern

A delightful color–shifter that puts on a show from spring to fall. Fresh fronds emerge a dazzling orange-red, glowing like tiny embers against mature, glossy green foliage. As summer settles in, the fronds deepen in color, then surprise again with bright red spores that shimmer along their undersides in fall. A tough and adaptable fern, ‘Brilliance’ handles drier soils better than many of its shade-loving kin.
