Dryopteris erythrosora 'Brilliance'
Brilliant orange-red new fronds in spring contrast beautifully with shiny, dark green mature fronds. Fading to lustrous summer green, they draw attention again in fall with bright red, ripe spores on their undersides. Prefer rich, moist soil, but will tolerate dryer soil than most ferns. 18-24", Z5-9.
