Fothergilla × intermedia ‘Legend of the Small’® – Bottlebrush
‘Legend of the Small’® is a compact Fothergilla that offers spring flowers, attractive foliage, and colorful fall interest in a smaller size. Fragrant, bottlebrush-like white blooms appear in spring and provide an early nectar source for visiting pollinators.
Bluish-green foliage fills out the shrub through summer before developing a mix of yellow, orange, and red tones in fall. Its compact habit makes it well suited for foundation plantings, mixed borders, woodland gardens, and smaller landscapes.
