Hosta ‘Sum and Substance’

Make a strong statement in the shade garden with ‘Sum and Substance’. This giant Hosta forms an impressive mound of immense, glossy leaves that range from light green and chartreuse to rich gold, with the brightest color developing in areas that receive more light.
Lavender flowers rise above the foliage in late summer, adding soft seasonal color. Its substantial leaves offer good slug resistance, while its large size makes ‘Sum and Substance’ an excellent choice as a specimen plant, focal point, or anchor in a large shade garden.
