Hosta ‘Super Nova’
Reversed sport of ‘Aurora Borealis’
Add bold color and heavy texture to the shade garden with ‘Super Nova’. Large, deeply cut leaves are strongly corrugated, with wide blue-green margins surrounding bright chartreuse centers that mature to gold by midsummer.
In early to midsummer, pure white flowers rise on 28-inch scapes above the foliage. Its substantial size and strong variegation make ‘Super Nova’ a good choice as a specimen or focal point in shaded borders and mixed Hosta plantings.
