If there is one perennial in our shade garden that people often ask about, it's this one!
The growth habit is almost shrub-like, forming a 12" clump with attractive variegated foliage all season. We even have one in full sun that is doing very well. Bright golden-yellow flowers in spring. It's a great choice for tough spots or in naturalized areas, under trees, which is where our is.
Fast growing and drought tolerant. Plant in evenly moist, well-drained soil. Deer and rabbit resistant. Shade to part shade. Height: 6-12" Spread: 10-14", Z4-8.
