(Peony)  Rare, compact fern-leaf Peony with bright green, feathery foliage that displays double, deep-red, cup-shaped flowers to perfection. Very early season bloom. Shorter than most peonies; prefers to be drier than garden types. Extremely long-lived. Foliage may yellow in midsummer as the plant goes dormant, do not water! 12-20", Z3-8.
