Phlox subulata ‘Scarlet Flame’
(Creeping Phlox)
‘Scarlet Flame’ produces masses of star-shaped, magenta-pink flowers over dark green, needle-like foliage from mid to late spring. Its low, spreading habit forms a colorful carpet that adds strong seasonal color to sunny garden spaces.
This hardy groundcover is well suited for steep banks, rock gardens, garden edges, and cascading over walls. It performs best in full sun with well-drained soil.
