Abeliophyllum distichum – White Forsythia
White Forsythia is an early-blooming deciduous shrub with slender branches covered in fragrant white to pale pink flowers before the foliage fully emerges. The small, forsythia-like blooms provide welcome color and fragrance at the start of the growing season.
Dark green leaves follow the flowers, forming a graceful, somewhat open shrub that works well in mixed borders, foundation plantings, or as a specimen.
