Red Maple
‘Red Sunset’ is a dependable red maple with a rounded to oval crown and strong branching structure. Green foliage provides summer shade before turning vivid orange-red in fall, while red tones also appear on new growth, leafstalks, flowers, and fruit through the season.
Adaptable to a range of soil conditions, this native maple is especially well suited to moist sites. Its moderate growth rate and broad canopy make it a good choice for lawns, large landscapes, and shade plantings.
