Actaea pachypoda (Syn: A. alba)

A popular native wildflower that thrives in shady, moist, humus-rich soil. Produces white flowers in early spring followed by distinctive white berries in late summer. A beautiful addition to woodland gardens or shady borders. Attracts pollinators. Caution: berries are poisonous.
