Actaea rubra
Features white flowers that appear slightly earlier and are larger than other baneberry varieties. Produces ¼" red berries on slender green pedicles. Native to Maine, thriving in rich, moist forests throughout New England. Attracts bees and other pollinators. Berries are ornamental but poisonous.
