A delicate and graceful fern with slender, dark stems that support fan-shaped leaflets arranged like the fingers of a hand. Commonly known as the Five-Finger, Northern, or Western Maidenhair, this fern thrives in cool, moist environments and is ideal for woodland gardens or plantings near streams and waterfalls. Prefers consistently moist, well-drained soil and shaded conditions.
