Allium 'Glitterbug® Bee's Knees®'

Allium ‘Glitterbug® Bee’s Knees®’

‘Glitterbug® Bee’s Knees®’ forms a tidy, compact mound that becomes covered with purplish-lavender flower clusters in mid to late summer. The rounded, golf ball-sized blooms rise just above the foliage, creating a dense display of color without taking up much space.

Its compact habit makes it especially useful along the front of sunny borders, in rock gardens, or grouped together as an edging plant. The flowers are an excellent nectar source for bees and other pollinators, while the plant handles average to dry soils well once established.
