Anemone hybrida ‘Whirlwind’
(Japanese Anemone)
‘Whirlwind’ is a vigorous Japanese anemone with double white flowers held on tall, slender stems from late summer into fall. The blooms rise above the foliage, bringing height and bright color to shaded borders and woodland-style gardens.
This variety spreads over time to form colonies, making it especially useful for naturalized plantings and larger perennial beds. It performs best in part shade and offers dependable late-season color with relatively little care.
