Astilbe arendsii ‘Bridal Veil’
‘Bridal Veil’ brightens shaded gardens with elegant white flower plumes held above glossy green foliage in midsummer. The airy blooms add a fresh, light look to woodland gardens and perennial borders, especially when planted among darker-leaved Hostas, Ferns, and Heuchera.
Its compact habit makes it easy to use near the front or middle of a shaded border, along pathways, or in mass plantings for a larger sweep of summer color. Like other Astilbes, it performs best in organically rich soil that stays evenly moist.
