Long pink plumes rise above lush green foliage, creating a striking display in part to full shade gardens. This hybrid, developed by George Arends in Germany in the 1920s, is a cross of Astilbe chinensis, A. japonica, A. thunbergii, and A. astilboides. Ideal for shady, moist sites, it attracts pollinators and is deer resistant.
