Astilbe arendsii ‘White Gloria’
(Syn. A. arendsii ‘Weisse Gloria’)
‘White Gloria’ is a classic astilbe with dense, snow-white flower plumes held on sturdy stems above glossy dark green foliage. Blooming in early summer, it adds bright color and soft texture to shaded garden beds and woodland-style plantings.
Its upright habit works well in borders, mass plantings, and mixed shade gardens. Like other astilbes, it performs best in organically rich soil that stays evenly moist.
