Astilbe chinensis ‘Spotlight’
‘Spotlight’ produces frothy, pale pink flower plumes above dark olive-green foliage accented with burgundy to chocolate-brown tones. The contrasting leaves provide color and texture even when the plant is not in bloom.
Its compact habit makes it well suited for shaded borders, woodland gardens, and mixed containers. It performs best in organically rich, evenly moist, well-drained soil and attracts butterflies while flowering.
