Astilbe chinensis var. davidii
Bronze-tinted dark green leaves support erect, slender panicles of purplish-pink flowers in late summer. One of the tallest Astilbes, reaching up to 6', it adds dramatic vertical interest to part to full shade gardens, borders, or woodland areas. Prefers moist soil and partial sun to shade.
