Astilbe chinensis ‘Visions’
‘Visions’ is a compact Astilbe with raspberry pink-lavender flower plumes that rise above bronze-green foliage in July and August. Its tidy habit and rich color make it especially useful near the front of shaded borders, along pathways, or grouped together for a broader midsummer display.
It also works well in woodland gardens, cottage gardens, and near ponds or streams where the soil stays consistently moist. The flowers attract bees and other pollinators, while the foliage is generally avoided by deer and rabbits.
