Astilbe chinensis 'Vision in Red '

Astilbe chinensis ‘Vision in Red’

‘Vision in Red’ brings rich midsummer color to shaded gardens with deep red buds that open to red-pink flower plumes above green-to-bronze foliage. Its compact habit makes it easy to tuck into the front of borders, along shaded pathways, or into smaller garden spaces.

It pairs well with Hostas, Ferns, Heuchera, and other shade-loving perennials, while the flowers attract pollinators during the summer bloom period. It also works well in containers where consistent moisture can be maintained.
