Astilbe japonica ‘Peach Blossom’
‘Peach Blossom’ brings soft early-summer color to shaded gardens with dense plumes of pale peachy-pink flowers held above shiny, fern-like green foliage. The blooms open gradually along each plume, helping extend the display over several weeks.
Its medium height makes it easy to use through the front or middle of shaded borders, woodland gardens, and mixed perennial plantings. It pairs especially well with Hostas, Ferns, Heuchera, and other moisture-loving plants, while the flowers also attract butterflies and work well for cutting.
