Astilbe thunbergii × ‘Chocolate Shogun’
‘Chocolate Shogun’ features glossy chocolate-bronze foliage topped with airy flower panicles blushed in soft pink. The dark leaves provide lasting color and texture, while the midsummer blooms add a lighter contrast above the mound.
This compact Astilbe works well in borders, woodland-style gardens, and containers. It performs best in moist, rich, well-drained soil.
