Athyrium x ‘Ghost’ – Japanese Painted Fern
‘Ghost’ is an elegant fern valued for its upright, silvery-gray fronds that brighten shady areas of the garden. A subtle magenta midrib adds extra color and contrast to the foliage.
Its vertical form and metallic coloring make it especially useful for adding texture among hostas, heucheras, and other shade-loving perennials. It performs best in consistently moist, well-drained soil and part to full shade.
