‘Northern Hi-Lights’ is a hardy deciduous azalea with fragrant yellow-and-white flowers in early spring. Large buds open in early May into showy flower clusters that attract butterflies and brighten woodland edges, mixed borders, and lightly shaded garden spaces.

Its upright, rounded habit works well as a specimen or in mass plantings. In fall, the green foliage develops rich red tones for an additional season of color. This cold-hardy variety is also generally left alone by rabbits.
