Elegant and stately, Baptisia alba features striking charcoal-gray stems, blue-green foliage, and long racemes of pure white, pea-like flowers in late spring to early summer. Though unscented, the blossoms are highly attractive to pollinators. This native perennial is drought tolerant, easy to grow, and makes an excellent specimen or background plant. Thrives in full sun but tolerates part shade better than the blue form.
