Baptisia minor
A smaller Baptisia with exquisite blue pea like strands reaching 16-24". Blooms May-June. Flowers transition to blackened seed pods, which can be a welcome adtion to dried flower arrangement.  Dry to medium moisture soil.

Use in borders, cottage gardens, rock gardens, prairies, meadows and native plant gardens. Native to the US where it would grow in woods and along stream banks.  Full sun to part shade.  Zones 3-8.
