(False Indigo) (Prairieblues™ Series)  Dense 18" tall spikes of deep violet-purple pea-shaped flowers are held well above and among the blue-green foliage. Long lived, they produce more and more flowering spikes with each passing year. Left untrimmed the plant forms interesting seed pods that turn charcoal black in fall and persist into winter. 4'x 4.5', Z4-9.
