Bergenia x ‘Peppermint Patty’

An eye-catching perennial that brings early-season color and texture to the garden. ‘Peppermint Patty’ produces striking 1¼" white flowers accented with soft pink throats and delicate picotee edges. The blooms are held on sturdy stems that emerge bright rose pink at the top and gradually fade to green at the base, adding multi-tonal interest even before the flowers open.

Thick, wavy, serrated foliage with toothed edges provides bold texture throughout the growing season. Blooming in early spring, this hardy Bergenia is both rabbit and deer resistant and adapts easily to a wide range of light conditions, from full sun to full shade.

An excellent companion plant for Epimedium, Brunnera, and Pulmonaria, ‘Peppermint Patty’ fits beautifully into woodland gardens, borders, and shaded beds.
