Buddleia 'Black Knight'

Buddleia 'Black Knight'                                                                                                     Heavy with dark purple, fragrant flowers, 'Black Knight' blooms from July into fall. In warm climates it can grow over 10 ft., here in New England it can be maintained around 6 ft. Buddleia bloom on new growth, so cut the plant back hard in early spring and deadhead to keep it blooming. Buddleia is a great choice for fragrance and attracting butterflies in mixed borders, hedges, as an accent, and in masses. Hardy to zone 5.
