‘Black Knight’ is a dramatic butterfly bush heavy with dark purple, fragrant flowers that bloom from July through fall. In warmer climates, it can exceed 10', though it can be maintained around 6' in cooler regions. Blooming on new growth, it responds well to a hard pruning in early spring and occasional deadheading to encourage continuous flowers.
