Produces large, deep purple, pendulous bell-shaped flowers from early to midsummer. Serrated, heart-shaped green foliage forms a slowly expanding clump, making it perfect for borders, rock gardens, or cottage-style plantings. Best grown in groups in average, well-drained soil. Deer-resistant and attractive to pollinators.
