Chelone glabra ‘Black Ace’ – Turtlehead
A striking native perennial with spring foliage that emerges a dramatic green-black, adding bold contrast to the garden. Crisp white, snapdragon-like blooms appear from July through October, feeding butterflies and other pollinators late into the season. A valued host plant for the Baltimore Checkerspot butterfly and a standout in sunny or lightly shaded borders.
