Chickadee Ornament

A favorite sight in the garden, in the woods, or at the birdfeeder, the Chickadee is a year-round visitor in much of North America, because they don't migrate. They are known for more than just their sweet plumage and distinctive call, though: chickadees hide different types of food in different locations, can remember thousands of hiding places.

The Black-capped Chickadee is the state bird of Maine and Massachusetts.
