Chrysanthemum ‘Matchsticks’
(Hardy Mum)
‘Matchsticks’ adds distinctive late-season color to the garden with narrow, golden-yellow tubular petals tipped in fiery red, giving each flower its matchstick-like appearance. The blooms are held on strong stems above dark green foliage, forming a compact, rounded clump.
Its smaller size makes it especially useful near the front of sunny borders, along garden edges, or in containers. The unusual flower shape also adds extra texture among more traditional fall-blooming perennials.
