A hardy, long-lived perennial mum that produces vibrant lavender daisy-like blooms from mid-September until frost. Unlike typical grocery store chrysanthemums, this Mammoth Mum, developed by the University of Minnesota, survives winter temperatures down to -30°F and returns larger each year. Forms a tidy, mounded shape without pinching, pruning, or deadheading, eventually reaching up to 3 ft tall and 5 ft wide. Attracts butterflies and is deer resistant.
