Cornus canadensis – Bunchberry
Bunchberry is a low-growing woodland groundcover and a miniature relative of the dogwood tree. It forms a spreading carpet of glossy green foliage, topped with white flowers in spring and clusters of bright red berries in early fall.
Best suited to cool, shaded locations with humus-rich, consistently moist soil, Bunchberry is a natural choice for woodland gardens, shaded pathways, and naturalized plantings.
