Daphne × burkwoodii ‘Carol Mackie’
‘Carol Mackie’ is a compact, rounded shrub valued for its fragrant spring flowers and variegated foliage. Slender green leaves edged in creamy white brighten the garden throughout the growing season, while clusters of soft pink flowers appear in May and fill the surrounding area with fragrance.
Its tidy habit makes it well suited for borders, rock gardens, foundation plantings, and smaller landscapes. This hardy, low-maintenance shrub also performs well in sandy or less fertile soils.
