Bring early color and fragrance to the garden with this compact deciduous shrub. In early spring, clusters of pink-lavender flowers line the bare stems before the leaves emerge, making February Daphne especially noticeable when much of the garden is still just waking up.
Its tidy size makes it easy to tuck into mixed borders, woodland edges, foundation plantings, or near a walkway where the fragrance can be enjoyed up close. It pairs well with early bulbs, Hellebores, and other spring-blooming plants for a layered seasonal display.
