Enkianthus campanulatus ‘Showy Lantern’
‘Showy Lantern’ is an upright Enkianthus with deep green, finely textured foliage and pink, bell-shaped flowers that hang in clusters in mid to late spring.
In fall, the foliage turns brilliant scarlet, giving this shrub strong seasonal interest well beyond its bloom period. Its upright habit works well in mixed shrub borders, woodland edges, or grouped plantings in sun to part shade.
