Epimedium alpinum 'Enchantress'
A delightful dwarf hybrid (E. dolichostemon x E. leptorrhizum) from England’s legendary plantswoman Elizabeth Strangman. Clumps reach 6" tall and spread 4–6" per year in moist, well-drained soil. Leaves emerge marbled and splashed dark bronze-red in spring, maturing to bright green with red veins. Early spring flowers are medium-sized, light lavender, and resemble a mobile of tiny purple spiders. Excellent as a ground cover. Deer resistant.
