Epimedium 'Hugs and Kisses'

Bicolor pink flowers with soft pink backs and deep mauve centers make ‘Hugs and Kisses’ one of the reddest Epimedium selections to date. Spring foliage shows attractive burgundy flecking, and slightly wavy leaf margins add extra texture and charm. Semi-evergreen leaves can be tidied up in spring but do not require cutting back.

Although slow to establish, mature plants make a striking statement in the garden, especially in bloom. Appreciated for their toughness and critter resistance, but adored for their long sprays of jester hat-like flowers in spring.
