‘Frohnleiten’ features striking red-mottled, heart-shaped foliage that emerges in spring, creating a dramatic display in shaded gardens. Early spring brings panicles of large butter-yellow flowers that add brightness and charm to woodland settings. Best pruned to the ground in fall to maintain a tidy clump.
