‘Meadowlark’ Forsythia brings bright spring color to the landscape with an abundance of golden-yellow flowers along its branches. After flowering, dark green foliage fills in and holds its color well into late fall.

A vigorous grower with a dense, spreading habit, ‘Meadowlark’ works well as a border, foundation shrub, screen, or mass planting. It is considered one of the hardier forsythia varieties and is also drought tolerant, salt tolerant, and deer resistant once established. Its dense branching can provide useful cover for wildlife.

For the best flower display, plant in full sun. If pruning is needed, prune immediately after flowering so next season’s flower buds are not removed.
